Answer : Absolutely Free to the Owner! The bank Pays the realtors to complete this process for them and you. Your realtor should not ask for any up front fees, ever.

Answer : Any where from 2 weeks to more than 6 months. Depending on the bank, how many loans you have and the willingness of the buyer to wait for an answer from your bank.

Question : Is a short sale better than a foreclosure & why
Answer: In most cases YES! A foreclosure can stay on you credit for up to 10 years where a short sale you could be able to purchase a home in 2 years or less.

Question : Should I continue to live in my home during the home sale process.
Answer : Yes. You can continue to occupy the home untill the short sale is completed or the home is forclosed on by the bank.

Question : Can I stop home foreclosure by listing my home for sale with a real estate company.
Answer: It is the 1st step. Then the next step would be foe us to generate an offer on the home to be sent to the bank to stop or delay the home foreclosure and attempt to complete the short sale.

Question  : Can I apply for a loan modification during the short sale process.
Answer : NO. Infact We can NOT attempt to work on a short sale for you if you do. If you tried to do a loan modification you need to withdraw it for us to complete the short sale. .
